RE-SEA ME 스툴은 바다에서의 지속 가능한 소재를 찾아 탄생하게된 제품이다. Studio Nienke Hoogvliet는 생선의 가죽이 어업의 폐기물인 동시에 이를 아름다운 가죽으로 만들 수 있다는 사실을 발견했다고 한다. 스툴을 만들기 위해 연어 껍질을 무작정 뜯은 것이 아니고, 슈퍼마켓의 생선에서 나온 연어 껍질 폐기물, 소각예정이었던 것을 재활용했다.
